Beginning Tutorial for new Players
From Turf Battles Wiki

This guide was made in the hopes that people asking for help when they start Turf Battles for the first time will have a place to go to learn what they should do, how they should do it, and if they should do it. If there are any mistakes someone notices feel free to leave a message in the discussion tab and the information will be changed. This is not meant as a complete guide, merely a starting guide for new players to the world of Turf Battles.

First Few Steps in Turf Battles
Both Races When creating a character be it Nephilim or Human you will want to setup your character so that it will be able to hit hard on a monster, yet not die. This can sometimes be difficult when you are a low level. Once you reach level 30 you will want to get a pet! This can be accomplished by following the Pet Quest Guide located further down in this guide.
Nephilim Race
The Archers and Blue Mages (Nephilim’s) start off in a map called Veros. Veros does not have many decent leveling spots to start off with so it is suggested as soon as you can go to Ladianes (See Map Switch Guide). Once you arrive in Ladianes you will want to start the hardcore grinding as soon as possible, but first you need to get some potions. Press M once again and walk towards the n of Ladianes located near there is a NPC named Yuba speak to him. I suggest you purchase roughly 100 Soft Potions and 10 Mana Potions. Once you have your Potions follow the leveling guide that corresponds to your class.
Human Race
The Fist Warriors, Blade Warriors, and Red Mages start off in a map called Ladianes. Ladianes has the perfect leveling areas for both Human’s and Nephilim’s. Get to level 20 by killing monsters outside of Ladianes. I suggest you kill Orange named monsters. When a monsters name turns blue begin to move forward on the map until you find some new Orange Named Monsters. Once you are level 20 press M once again and walk towards the “n” of Ladianes located near there is a NPC named Yuba speak to him. I suggest you purchase roughly 100 Soft Potions and 10 Mana Potions. Once you have your Potions follow the leveling guide that corresponds to your class.
Stat Point Allocation Guide
I strongly suggest you follow this guide, it will help you level much faster then you would normally. Note NEVER Auto Attribute your points, it will mess your character up.
Red Mages
Red Mages will want to get all of there AOE (Area of Effect) skills first so that they can level up faster. It is recommended that you stat your points into Skills, on the way to getting skills you will also notice you will be able to use new staffs. Here is the setups you should be wanting for a red mage.
- First Setup - 52 Str, 56 Dex, 101 Red Magic Attribute (Fire Breath)
- Second Setup - 58 Str, 77 Dex, 129 Red Magic Attribute (Fire Ball)
- Third Setup - 67 Str, 127 Dex, 219 Red Magic Attribute (Dragon Breath)
- Forth Setup - 82 Str, 179 Dex, 320 Red Magic Attribute (Draco Spirit)
- Fifth Setup - 96 Str, 233 Dex, 426 Red Magic Attribute (Fire Rain)
- Sixth Setup - 109 Str, 282 Dex, 521 Red Magic Attribute (Meteor)
When you have finally gotten Meteor you will then begin to put stat points into Vit, this will allow you to use armours. Put a total of 300 points into Vit.
Once you have 300 points into Vit you will want to stat your character for the following 2 skills. 93Str , 303 Dex, 557 Red Magic Attribute (Burst Edge) - For PVP 120 Str, 317 Dex, 591 Red Magic Attribute (Meteor Shower) - For Killing Monsters that you can now tank thanks to your 300 Vit.
Blue Mages
Blue Mages, like the Red mage will want to get there AOE (Area of Attack) skills first so they can level up faster. It is recommended that you stat your points into Skills, on the way to getting skills you will also notice you will be able to use new staffs. Here is the setups you should be wanting for a blue mage.
- First Setup - 61 Str, 107 Dex, 176 Blue Magic Attribute (Frozen Gas)
- Second Setup - 65 Str, 123 Dex, 209 Blue Magic Attribute (Water Pump)
- Third Setup - 62 Str, 138 Dex, 239 Blue Magic Attribute (Ice Flower)
- Forth Setup - 82 Str, 225 Dex. 411 Blue Magic Attribute (Blizzard)
- Fifth Setup - 93 Str, 286 Dex, 531 Blue Magic Attribute (Blue Meteor)
When you have finally gotten Meteor you will then begin to put stat points into Vit, this will allow you to use armors. Put a total of 300 points into Vit.
Once you have 300 points into Vit you will want to stat your character for the following 2 skills. 99 Str, 320 Dex, 601 Blue Magic Attribute (Ice Driver) - For PVP and Leveling 120 Str, 279 Dex, 585 Blue Magic Attribute (Freezing Circle) - For Leveling
Archers
Archers are slow levelers and thus you will want to kill monsters as fast as you can. Since Archers are long range you will again not want to put any Vit until a certain level. When Leveling with an archer you will simply run backwards jump and well in mid air attack the monster. Repeat this process until the monster is dead, never stand still for a monster to hit you. The stat points Allocation system for an archer is fairly simple. Simply stat for every Archer Skill until you get Fiend at the same time also add some points into Magic Attribute. This is for your weapons and buffs.
Recommended Stat Distribution Per Level - Put 4/10 Stat points into Magic Attribute until you have what you feel is a good bow. Use the other 6 Stat points into what ever new skill you need (Always get the new skills). When you have all the Magic Attribute Points you feel you need and have the Fiend skill then you will start to put your points into Vit. So that you can finally wear armor and jewelery.
Blade Warriors and Fist Warriors
Blade and Fist Warriors are in no way able to fight without being face to face with the enemy. This makes both these class’s need a split up of Armour, Weapons, and Skills. I suggest that you first stat for Str and Dex until Str is at about 250 and Dex is at 130. Then put about 250 into vit. Once you have that decide if you want to go down the path of Power or Defense. For Defense continue on vit, for power continue on Str and Dex and also begin to add some Magic.

When you reach a certain high level skill, you will notice that there is a bar on the skill that says SP #%. This means when the % reaches 0 you will not be able to use the skill anymore. To use the skill again you must buy and use SP Scrolls from the SP Scroll NPC’s. These NPC’s can be found in the starting towns Veros and Ladianes. To purchase the right SP Scroll simply match up the name of the Attack you need SP for with the name of the SP Scroll. Each SP Scroll gives you 25% SP.
